SA Equip is a specialised manufacturer of temporary and portable ventilation, lighting, heating and power distribution equipment for harsh and hazardous environments and we are currently seeking highly motivated Onsite Support Engineer to provide full customer back up for our products out in the field.
Our company is looking for an Onsite Support Engineer to provide full customer back up for our products out in the field. This is a wide ranging role with great potential to develop. Based both on customer sites and at a regional base, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the equipment, trouble shooting and supporting customers to get the best out of the equipment. The role will include helping to set up equipment and providing advice to customers in this respect. Product demonstrations to customers will also be included. A proactive approach will be required to ensure that the equipment is being used correctly and working at its maximum potential.
Experience:
Electrical Engineering: 1 year (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site support to SA Equip clients (rental and purchase) Product and application advice Support with equipment set up Checking work areas to ensure kit being used safely and correctly Dealing with any equipment issues Repair and maintenance of equipment Product demonstrations Liaising with the sales team on any requirements for equipment and spares etc Being an ambassador for the SA brand
Key Requirements
Basic understanding of electrical equipment Experience with industrial equipment and/or site working Basic knowledge of CompEx/hazardous areas (not essential – can be trained) Ability to communicate effectively Organised and reliable Full driving licence IT capable
