GDF had to conduct a spot repair on a pot water tank, this involved steam cleaning the tank which required getting heat directly to the affected areas allowing it to dry quickly and start blasting.
Solutions
Running our SA FLEXIHEAT ATEX Heater day and night allowed the drink water tank to be fully operational five days earlier than what would have been achieved without the use of our product.
Value to the customer
GDF calculated that they managed to create 10 – 15% additional painting days through use of our heater.
Whisky Distillery
A whisky distillery operator turned to portable safer working equipment specialists SA Equip for help as a raised platform installed to reduce asbestos from a warehouse roof had created a contained space. The issue? Lack of ventilation and the presence of fumes from the barrels made this a hazardous working area.
