Provide power supply to the Solan

Challenges:

Bi-Fab had the task of painting the legs for the Solan platform. They needed lighting and ventilation inside the tubes so EX power was needed. They had a shortage of power supply around the area so they needed to bring in a system.

Solution:

SA supplied the SA POWERNET ATEX MDU (Mains Distribution Unit) and also SA POWERNET Transformers.

This meant that the lights could then be connected easily without having to hard wire in the sockets which could take weeks. This saved a lot of time and they were able to use the portable system when they reached Solan.
